Puzzle No. 6

Hint: Before you head off along the Spit or lane, you need to find out the name of the waters here for your answer.

Puzzle No. 7

Hint: You don't have to go to this next point, but you do have to know your history! For your answer name the king who had this built. If you are stuck go to the scroll below.
Approximately 45 minutes walk each way (allow 1hr 30mins in total walking time, or 45mins if you return by ferry)
The ferry only runs from the end of March to the end of October so if you walk the Spit out of season you will have to return along the Spit.The shingle is deep and loose so only walk it if you have suitable footwear!

Hint: Once you have made your way here, look at the walls and name the device that controls the water flow.

Hint: You will be walking on the field footpath and then the roads off to the left. There are two option routes here but pay attention to the road signs with names of birds and these will be your answer. Click below for help if needed.
